Over time, the use of well water causes subsidence in the land in our community. Continued subsidence can contribute to flooding during heavy rains. In order to reduce the area’s dependency on well water, the West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA) was created to begin construction of water lines for the supply of surface water.

The WHCRWA charges the District a fee per 1,000 gallons of water produced at the District’s water wells to help pay for this conversion. Please note that effective with water usage beginning January 1, 2016 the West Harris County Regional Water Authority Fee will be $2.65 per thousand gallons of water used.

Please contact our District’s operator, H20 Consulting, at (281) 861-6215 if you would like additional information or go to West Harris County Regional Water Authority’s website at www.whcrwa.com.
