Vacation Watch
If a resident will be away from their home for a period of time, they can either call the Clay Road Substation or Franz Road Storefront and request a Vacation Watch be performed on their home while they are away.
The numbers are as follows:
Clay Road Substation (281) 463-2648
Franz Road Storefront (281) 637-9371
Friendly Reminder
Wet paint or other liquid items that can cause damage to public property should be properly disposed of, not thrown into the trash receptacles. Improper disposal can cause damage to both public and private property.
Rate Increase
Over time, the use of well water causes subsidence in the land in our community. Continued subsidence can contribute to flooding during heavy rains. In order to reduce the area’s dependency on well water, the West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA) was created to begin construction of water lines for the supply of surface water.
The WHCRWA charges the District a fee per 1,000 gallons of water produced at the District’s water wells to help pay for this conversion. Effective with your December 20, 2010 water bill, this fee will increase to $1.71 per 1,000 gallons of water used by each customer.
Please contact our District’s operator, SouthWest Water Company, at (713) 405-1750 if you would like additional information.
